OUR TOWN ADMINISTRATOR IS
Douglas Hoyt: Lives in Malabar. He has significant administrative experience both in the private and public sectors. While living in Suwanee, Georgia, his two companies (HPS Industries and Coppersmith, Inc) were quite successful and Coppersmith continues successfully operating to this day. Upon retiring he came to Florida and settled in Malabar where he could have his horses and a bit of elbow room. Rather than spending his retirement sitting around, he has worked with a couple of local businesses. In these positions he came to know this Town and many of its people. He is certified in both Code Enforcement and in Stormwater Management Inspection by the state of Florida. He holds a college degree in Arts and Letters.
He has an open door
policy and invites all Malabar residents to come by and meet him and offer any comments or concerns they may have.
